Roo decided that she wanted her shirt off this afternoon. Maybe because she loves to sit by the fire and feel the warm on her back. But for whatever reason, she was topless and Talia was chasing her around trying to get a good zerbert on her belly. They held still long enough for this encounter:
How I love them! Even when they are being goofusses'. Talia had preschool this morning. She looked like the very 'sauce' with her pink sweater, side ponytail and my page boy hat. It was hat day today. . . "The letter is H, the sound is Ha!" She comes home repeating the cutest things. Her preschool teacher, Mrs. Rigby is a genius. Tali retains so much of what they learn in class. Speaking of which, she learned this little song last week and has been singing it whenever we sit down to eat.
We recorded this to send to Aunt Jenna at BYU, for a little good morning salute! So there are a few little extras in there for her. Love you Jenn!
I have Webelos coming over at 4:00, I have prepared little. So, I am going to get on that soon. Then I am going to roast some potatoes to have with dinner. We will be enjoying the pork that has been in the crock pot all day. MY FAVORITE!

ReplyDeleteDear Sis:
ReplyDeleteI am only just discovering your blog! What a treasure you are creating. I am inspired, especially by your "The War" post. Oh how that battle has been raging within me the past couple weeks. I know a stiff upper lip is admirable but tears feel so good sometimes. Something that came to my mind because of your comments is the conviction that we are all doing hard things! Not only are we capable of doing hard things we are immersed in them right not. Sister Beck in a regional conference reminded me that I fought a war in heaven for the opportunity to participate in this mortal test and I knew it was going to be a test. Well then by gum bring it on! I must have known what I was fighting for then and I am learning every day how very right my decision was.
Here are school I easily become intimidated and frustrated by all of the incredible people I am surrounded by. However, when I talk to my family or appreciate the little things i can feel God's love witnessing or my divine calling and urging me onward. Today, you reminded me of that witness I have received Sarah. Thank You! You are the creating the most beautiful family! As for Talia, I loved your Turkey song and want to hear it again and again at Thanksgiving. My dear Ruby I want you to know I caught that kiss you blew.
I know the Lord is consecrating our efforts to build his kingdom and guiding our decisions. Thank you for the testimony and love Granges. See you around the turkey.
love,
Jenna
p.s. what do you think of the blog name, "Single and Writing" -it started as a joke but I don't want to forget these wonderful times. (sorry this was huge!)
Could there be a sweeter thing than these two daughters? (not Tali n Roo) Two of the army of righteous women facing the wonders of the latter days! How thankful I am that they are tuned in to the wisperings of the "Holy Ghost, which comforter filleth with hope and perfect love". !!! And most of all that they are my best friends...
